Talked to my brother for the first time ever

Ive always known I had a brother around the same age as me on my fathers side. He chose to be in my life instead of his and decided it was time to step up and track him down.
We talked on Facebook and it was so weird.. I can't imagine what its like to not have your real parent in your life ever..

I am all emotionally weirded out by this but it's good and a huge part of my life now so I thought I would share. smile

Glad you found him. Me being a mother, I find it hard to believe that one could abandon a child...
But there are people like that. Guess some people don't have that parenting quality.

Then again, it might have something to do with your mom, and his mom.
I'm sure neither would give up their child.

@Nyuu. That is exactly it. My mom made him choose and he thought he loved my mother so he stuck it out for 18 years then got his life on track.. Better late than never though.
