|
|
Are mediators allowed to mediate trades in $ for $ trades?
Example - Swapping my FTP $ for someone's PayPal $
Med receives $ from both, then sends to the appropriate party.
Also, if they can do this, would this prevent chargebacks since the $ is gone from the user that the PayPal user sent $ to? _____________________

It would have to be up to each mediator. Whether they would be willing to trade or no _____________________

Alright, thanks.
Is there a mediator list, by any chance? I found the mod list for the trading area but there's only 3 in there and I'm sure I've seen more than 3 mods/meds? _____________________

She won't be able to mediate those trades.

I thought if he sends you money, then you sent it to me, he can't charge back since you no longer have the money?
Not quite sure if PayPal would take money away from the third person and you'd most likely be using an empty PayPal to prevent them from deducting it from your own $? _____________________

We cannot hold anything that has to do with paypal. Because even if the trade is successful and then someone charges back the money then we are out whichever that amount is and that is highly unfair. Which is why trades of this nature are completely at your own risk.

ive read somewhere that you can chargeback a year
could be my imagination
the safest way i think is if you guys do increments one by one.
example,
you give him $2, he gives you $2...rinse and repeat
