What's the problem?

First of all is a newbie to this Forum, Only 10 posts and it joined yesterday.

When i applied for my Verified Tag i gathered so many personal information to Vitan and also personal pictures, Phone, PP account, Moneybookers account and so on...

I waited like 25-30 Days for getting approved by "Mods" and finally i got it! and i was so happy damn.

And now look what i see, a newbie with under 100 posts(100 posts = needed to apply for this "Verified Tag"

And Giantbob clearly explains what you need to get verified

What i think: This user just donated 10$ to forum and he got his Verified Tag

If this user got the Verified Tag because he knows a mod or because he donated to site I want this "Verified Vip" from my Group to be just VIP or MEMBER how was it before, because for me is useless if a newbie user can grant this so easy.

If i donate 200$ i will get a Staff Tag? Let me know

The verified tag is just an identity check...its not a trusted tag. Which is why I won't bother. Must have felt nice knowing Vitan had your personal information when he got keylogged...

If moderators know someone personally it makes sense I guess. Then again, if rules say at least 100 posts then it should be 100 posts...for everyone.
And I do hope they provided their paypal/moneybookers etc before they got their tag (but i seriously doubt it). And that info is quite handy to have in case they prove to be scammers

I think I've waited longer than everyone who currently has a tag... totally agree with you Brontix. If getting the tag is this easy, it'd kill the meaning to be a Verified Member very soon, as people would take advantage of having the tag and have the ability to scam others more easily.

Edit: Just read the chat box. This is becoming more like d2jsp if it wasn't already. Know the people on the staff team = get benefits. No idea how it was before, but that's what I'm seeing here.
