Yes the max level is 20. But the game is not like diablo or others where the level matters. In guildwars it is entirely dependent on your skill bar and how you use it... Best advice i can give for anyone that is trying guildwars out is to google guildwars wiki and do some research on your mission, figure out what your going against and try to build your build around their weaknesses.

Also if you want the full experience out of guildwars. GET NIGHTFALL, Heros are sooo much better than henchmen.

If you need any help with the game as in advice just pm me ( i can no longer help ingame because i am now a MAC person and GW is not MAC capatible.) But, if what you need help on isnt too annoying of a mission i can direct you to someone who can help you with it.
