I hear there are many bugs that havent been fixed yet. You will have to wait for updates to avoid headaches

I didn't bother getting it, I did get the 64-bit Windows XP Professional a while ago though, when I installed that it was a nightmare - program compatibility issues. Yeap, bet Vista is no different...but one thing is for sure.....

www.tomshardware.com did some benchmarking tests with xp vs. vista.

they took to identical computers, identical equipment and loaded one with xp and one with vista, they ran a bunch of programs and games and the computer with xp performed faster across on 90% of the applications.

pretty scarry huh?

Vouch that. i have 2 computers and i bought vista and installed it on my other one and i swear it runs slower but some times its like lighting fast. im going to wait till its loaded up with shit and then do a bunch of Scans,Deletes and stuff see about that. i can vouch that there are nonsensical errors and shit and there are help icons that piss me off, computers are built for the complete dumb ass now a days. they should make them like the did in the old days if you don't know then don't use it dummy!!!.

Lol

I recently bought some new computers for my busniness and they came with vistas loaded...after only a few days of my IT guys whining I new that it was a mistake...so I purchased XP Pro for them all and had them and started over. Networking issues, compatibility issues, etc, etc.
