Mediating of FG trades supported? In my opinion, all / some mods should be more open to mediate FG trades. They will hold the PayPal money.

Just wondering why it isn't "supported".

It would result in more successful safe trades, and could bring more active users to the community!

You can still chargeback from a moderator.. also not everyone has d2jsp, and not everyone would want to risk their d2jsp account tongue

Can you chargeback a PayPal payment if it was sent as a gift?

I dont think so, but I have heard people saying you can.. getting my OWN paypal in a month so ill try then i guess
the only way to do it is to open a dispute, send the money and then close it.

Yes it is possible, and has happened to me on a few occasions, feel free to go through the S/A section and look at all the screenshots etc.

there has to be some way to do this, what if mods had certain rogue jsp accounts just for this purpose that way it wouldn't matter if the worst case scenario (got banned) happened. i think it would help this sites rep A LOT

Any purchase via Paypal can be charged back, just call your bank and tell them that someone is scamming with your credit card, and they will withdraw the money.

I can mediate any kind of trade but none for money.

Or we should just privatize the selling to just donors.

for paypals you can alwasy say unauthroized trans thus the mod would be risking the amount of the trade everttime and whoever meded it would be out instead the user
for paypal trades at least

for d2jsp trades

having fg go though another person does look a bit odd

also it puts there d2jsp acc at risk if they care about it

Well then I'd say put a stickied topic in selling & trading for mediators that are availalbe for mediating for trades that do not include PayPal.

Although, there is this Western Union I heard of, is it good? Can you chargeback / reverse payments on that? :O

So the med would hold anything but FG or the PayPal money, right?

Please contact support@d 2 j sp ( remove spaces ) and have kevin there hold it for you, I believe they will be able to work on banning the users account if they do not send the fg or pay.
You can also pm kevin there and tell him u want him to mediate as well, let me know how that works out.

Thanks.
