I'm so sad right now, the news I recieved from yesterday morning and now today....I haven't been so upset in.....forever......

grief...

I already told Richie.....It's just....how do you try to move on when everything is so changed by something.

2 of my friends....I knew them for years in high school....I used to go to their houses, knew their parents, we'd all go watch movies together, go to the light show in Columbus, hang out during the summer after a long school year, so many great memories, and they are all gone. They were driving on one of the interstates over the weekend, when eric lost control of the car, they ran right into a concrete support, and then another. Nick and Aris both were dead at the scene. They were drinking...

Eric was flown to columbus under critical care, but Monday he had recovered a good amount. Aris's funeral was today, so many people from high school and people from every school and my campus were in attendance. I haven't been so sad..in....forever. I was so sad for their families, my grief is selfish in ways, because I cannot imagine the pain their families are going through, I used to go over to their houses and Aris's mother is in politics, they are such nice people, I couldn't stand seeing them in pain, they were so young and now they are gone. I am good friends w/ Eric's sister Stephanie....we were both talking about how lucky Eric is, about alot of different things, she knew aris and nick also. Afterwards, they took Eric home as he was recovering still, an hour after the funeral, Stephanie calls me crying, Eric killed himself.

We can't replace your friends but we'll still be here for you if you need anything we can do. I've had family pass away, wasn't easy either but friends helped me a lot in bringing myself back, so don't feel sad alone, we're here.

Now this story is unique to you, an it's prabably one of the worst I've heard. After reading this I felt a weird scene of compassion.. I think it's weird, because I barely know you online.. It's just weird for me.

Anyways..

I've had two close friends of mine die in car accidents while in high school. But separated in time. I understand some of the pain you're going through, and I've put my self through the "What-If" many times. Especially after my friend Autumn died, she was actually driving to pick up my best friend for a party.

I have had in some small way a slightly simular experience, or at least I've felt some of the pain.

What i've learned about death, is that it's a important part of life. And that it's natural and okay. I know this doesn't help the feeling deep inside, but it's a good mind set to try and take. Because it's the right one. Appreciate the lifes your loved ones lived, and live YOUR life to the fullest. Because what has been done is done, and what you have left you should charrish.

well i tried to think of something to say but i cant. ive had deaths in the family come suddenly and i know how it is. i remember when my dad died nobody was really there to help me get past it. surrounded by those u love but nobody there to help you. i hope for the best for you smile

That stinks lani, I kind of know where your coming from, two weeks ago my friend was in a car crash and died as well. He wasnt drinking tho, he slipped on black ice. wrapped his truck around a tree : /

when i was real young i had an older brother that died from heart problems n the doctors screwed up, the best thing to do is not to grief over thier deaths, but to celebrate because they have moved on to a better place... yes it hurts rlly bad but what else can you do? be happy for them, thier pain wasnt long, they wouldnt want u to be upset over them, they would want u to move on..

One thing this is stupid but since were *baba* aka bad kid's when our little homie died we drank and smoked and our boy jesse did coke to solve our feelings I don't think you'r a drinker or a smoker but just don't do it =[ i wish i didn't.
