|
|
Hey,
I've been reading at: http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/crafteditems.shtml
I'm trying to craft a druid ammy with 10-18FCR and +2 druid skills /w other good mods. How do i do this?
Caster craft only adds
Quote: | (5-10)% Faster Cast Rate
Regenerate Mana (4-10)%
+ (10-20) To Mana |
So how do i get the +skills, etc? _____________________

You need any Magical Amulet (Must be Magic, Rare or Unique will not work), any Rare/Magical Jewel (Unique will not work), a Perfect Amethyst, a Ral Rune and the Horadric Cube. Place the 4 items listed above into the Cube and transmute. The ilvl of the Amulet DOES affect your outcome, but your outcome is 100% random, meaning you can get the crappiest junk out of a ilvl 99 Amulet and vice-versa. I've been crafting for ages, on average you get one half decent product out of 20~50 crafts for Amulets.
Also to elaborate on the product, you can get 5-10% Faster Cast Rate guaranteed by the formula, but you can also get lucky and score the "of the Apprentice" modifier on your product, which will add an extra 10% Faster Caste Rate, hence adding to a 15-20% Faster Cast Rate total. This is very rare.
The skills randomly spawn as well, it's just the suffix or prefix that you got. For example out of 6 total possible prefixes you got Arch-Angel's, that means your crafted product will have +2 to Sorceress Skill Levels, similarly you can get no such prefix, which means your crafted Amulet will not add any skills to any classes, and this happens often too.
The ilvls of the Jewels does not affect your outcome.

Rina, I love you. Most of this I knew, but a lot of useful information here too. +1 Rep
How does one come to get +skills, is that just one of the properties that can spawn?
Also ivl 71 and up for magical ammys, if you want to always get 4 properties every time.
Also what MH is everyone using these days? I need something for seeing ilvl that wont get me banned. _____________________

Yes. Basically any Amulet you find on Hell from Act 3 and on is a good candidate. And I just edited a third paragraph into my response regarding the skills. |

Yes, your clvl will affect your outcome. I forgot to mention that ><
This also has its advantage. For example if you wanted to craft something for a Mld/Lld character with specific level requirements such as 30 for a Faster Cast Rate Belt, it will be ideal to use a lower level character to roll, i.e. ~50.
And Azn no you cannot produce such Amulets. However with a different formula you may produce Faster Run/Walk Amulets. |

No no. It doesn't matter what class or character you use to craft, the chances are all the same now. Just be careful what ilvl Amulet and clvl character you use. |

lvl of character matters when crafting..
Quote: | The ilvl of a Crafted Item is equal to half the level of the crafting character (rounded down) plus half the ilvl of the input item (rounded down). Put another way: ilvl = int(.5 * clvl) + int(.5 * ilvl) |
