no disrespect to any of the following because i really like em all but...
nate recently had a "purple guild member banner"
nyuu's "graphic artist banner"
vassago's "otaku" banner"
is there really a point for it? the guild member banner i think is retarded first of all. there are other graphic artists on the forum so why don't others get graphic artist banners? otaku? i don't even know what that is and fully proclaim to be ignorant on the matter, but i just don't see a point.
again, no disrespect to any of those guys because w/o em this site would be dead as a dodo. |

I see where you're coming from, but for one, that graphics artist tag goes to people that have gone above and beyond in gfx...and do it often.
Not many people actually do that, and I'm pretty sure Nyuu trolls the gfx section 
Otaku....beats me, and guild member...pretty sure 75% of jsp needs one of those. |

Otaku stands for the people that love anime stuff, like TV series, magazines, all around anime things.
Graphics Artist is a given tag. You have to work for it, and she received it for her work in the graphics section.
Guild Member tags are no longer given out, they were given out when the site first started off, it was probably a mistake that Nate got one of those.

If you wish to have a group called "athlete" or "car mechanic" or "tilted" make a new suggestion here in the suggestions forum.
PM Happyguy44 and ask him if he could add you to the Otaku groups if you wish so.

when i suggested all those names i was being sarcastic, and when i said i should be added to otaku i was being sarcastic too (although i do like hentai).
i just think it devalues all banners in general when they're being handed out like candy. nobody agrees with that? |

Guild member tag matched my signature. Nick was just having fun with my profile until I recieved my moderator status back..
Nyuu has a gfx tag because she has proven herself a decent sig maker.
Vassago and Myoga and Nick are in Otako or whatever that group is called because they like anime etc..

i didn't realize guild member doesn't exist anymore so idc about that
nyuu is alright...but i guess it's mildly acceptable since there are no other artists on this forum
the otaku one is the one i have the biggest objection to. there are probably as many people who like poker, if not more, than anime yet there is no poker banner. no, i am not suggesting a poker banner be added. i am suggesting banners dedicated to specific interests shouldn't exist. |
