I used to be heavy into cardio routines, then went the bodybuilding route. Im obsessed with using dumbells
Shoulder flys
Military press
Back raises
Javorek complex (to work shoulders to near exhaustion)
push ups to finish
10 rep, 4 sets, 30 minute intervals (drink protein shake, small amount of carbs for sustenance, water or Gatorade 8 oz for hydration and replenish of lost fluids)
Next day i work all other muscles not worked the previous day. This continues for the week and i take sunday for my lazy day off.
In terms of being a big gym rat, not so much. I do go to the gym, but i have my own home equipment (boflex for nice muscle definition. i practically used to worship my p90x workout videos, ab machine, pull up bar, full set of dumbbells; 15's, 25's, 40's, 50's and even 70's (and a barbell setup) |

To be honest if you are in the gym you should be doing everything else other than pull ups dips push ups and cardio including plyos n shit. Gym should cover all heavy weight you don't want at your house like bench press leg press all the shit that takes up lots of space like squats all power lifting . Hit me up let me know what you are trying to get into. You can hit me up on my cell phone get you on a diet n shit that's also big part should be drinking lots of water everyday carry around a gallon |

Thanks man! Definitely love advice since I am sitting at about 270 right now.. I really let myself go since a year and a half ago, gained 70lbs due to depression. BUT no more excuses!
Today I worked Legs/Back
Squats
4x 8-10
Deadlifts
3x8-10 (had to cut it short due to back spasms n bad stuff)
Leg press
4x8-10
Hammer strength back
4x8-10
Leg curl / extensions
4x8-10
and finished with hammer strength back rows
4x8-10
All in all I surprised myself I finished everything I planned on my first serious day back in. and now my legs hate me.. =) _____________________

Yeah man for sure, I actually read that cardio after weights is the best way to burn fat and not ruin your weight training stamina.
But the wonderful thing about exercise is there's almost no wrong way, unless you act like a fool in the gym xD _____________________

Ohh read it wrong!!! Ya cardio after is important for the lactic acid build up but before u get into heavy weight training u need to do bunch of cardio first few weeks get blood flow through out body at a higher rate then you will have increased your energy to lift heavy |

Yeah, I used to be hard into the gym so I have a nice base muscle, and now that i'm slowly getting my act together im seeing old muscles start to show and feel so much better xD now getting rid of the gut is where the challenge comes in with the cleaning up my diet. _____________________

My gym doesn't have a good eliptical. It's more of a frustration than a workout haha. _____________________
