If you take a loan out on your house.... your retarded.. end of story lol
if you really need that brand new atv or boat or whatever it is your buying, save up for it.. same concept as credit cards...
hey, i dont have the money to buy something... i know, ill buy it anyways and just owe the money to someone...
but instead you say:
Hey, i dont have the money to buy something.. i know, ill SELL my house to the bank and then rebuy it back from them slowly... _____________________

Completely agree. there is this mindset that everyone in america is entitled to a house but to be frank very few of them can actually afford them. where did this fucking viewpoint come from, the fact that in the 70s everyone had homes? a family from african would probably fight a lion for the chance at living in an american apartment. renting has gotten such a horrible stigma of recent times (bad investment blah blah) and the media keep repeating the view that you need to make good investments now even if it will result in short term strife. continuously borrowing from banks in order to make good investments sounds peachy in theory but people don't have the luxery of waiting for all these hypothetical investments to come good.
but we are entitled to our homes |

| certain investments with loans aren't horrible. for example next year i'm going to med school and it will cost 40 grand a year. do you know how long it would take me to save that up on my own to pay for medschool out of pocket? i'd rather take a loan and get out of medschool at 28 and have all my loans paid off within 6-8 years, than enter medschool at age 45 and graduate when im practically 50 |

nah i despise loans and think the credit card was the invention that will regress society more than anything else in the world.
but SOMETIMES you have no other realistic options |

well the side note of the house bit
most people have a issue of buying a house to big for there mans
such as almost everyone wants a 3 bedroom 2 bath ect
when they could survive live in and afford something like a 1 - 2 bedroom 1 bath house
but not the 3 - 4 bedroom house ect _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |

| well the problem is they buy a house and expect their current salary/job situation not to change. people go into it thinking at this rate ill be able to pay it off by xxx date. then all of a sudden economy goes to shit and boom, headshots all over the place |
