Here is a small guide about how to check for keyloggers or other viruses in the files you download. Unfortunately you never can say that a file doesn't contain a virus and be 100% sure about it.
It is actually very easy to check for viruses in a file.
First you download the file, I suggest you to save it into an empty path on your desktop.
After downloading, don't open the file, instead enter following page: http://www.virustotal.com/ and upload it.
After uploading it, scan it and check for viruses.

http://virusscan.jotti.org/en
http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
http://www.garyshood.com/virus/ (this one should also be able to download the file by just getting a direct link to it)

sorry man thats fail,just cuz they dont flag as a virus it can contain a keylogger especially if you are downloading from Edgeofnowhere

its hard to detect a keylogger but I always scan with virustotal imo its best site

Well if its not packed you can always go through the code and check it out but if its packed then you wont know until it happens  , i suggest to just download from people who have established themselves trustworthy but sometimes that doesnt help either

Could always (just a thought) script a bot yourself, and not rely on others doing all the work??
That could be the safest way, then all you need to do is press run and away you go, keylogger free  |

If the mods of blizzhackers approve of the file you are downloading then they are safe. I have never downloaded a keylogger from there. |
