I think it helps a lot. An account with a lot of rep has a lot more invested into his account and is less likely to scam. Helps as a general guideline

leave the rep and just let users be able to edit/delete their own rep maybe. can this discussion end already..

vouch, but users shouldn't be able to edit their rep though because scammers will edit their negative comments and use it to their advantage to scam people, leave it as it is, when unfair repuation is given you can always get it removed by posting in reputation complaint/scammers forum

Senior Moderators should be able to remove reputations. That's needed. It would be faster and Tramway , you wouldn't have to do it all on your own.

Agreed. This topic and every topic saying the same thing over and over is annoying as hell. People with low rep count dont seem to care while those that have been here for some time seem to. People that use this site for trading WANT the reps to better choose who is safe to trade with, the people here to play arcade and post pointless youtube videos of kittens in the battlefield don't. The simple fact that this has become such an "important issue" is laughable. The Mods here need SOMETHING to do, let them handle the situation when a user cries about it.
My opinion is to leave reps as they are, its already been messed with enough by removing the negatove rep option. Its one of the few things that makes this site different from Njaguars. Please find something more significant to worry about around here as there is much that can be improved. Please close this topic already, the masses have spoken and the majority seem to want to keep it as it currently is.
