2009-2010 NBA Awards
MVP without a doubt is Lebron James: Second in scoring, sixth in assist, over 50% field goal, over a three, a steal and a block a game.
Rookie of the year Tyreke Evans: He averages 20 points, 5 boards, near 6 assist and a steal and a half a game. For a rookie to put up those numbers in the NBA is absolutely ridiculous.
Most improved player goes to Aaron brooks: Heres his 09 averages 11 points, 1.4 threes and 3 assist a game. Heres his 2010 averages 20 points, 2.7 threes, and 5 assists a game. I knew he was going to have a break out year but not like this.
Sixth man award goes to Jamal Crawford: The ability to come off the bench and contribute to the team is rare these days. So many players have such high egos that they would rather not play then to come off the bench.
Coach of the year goes to Nate McMillian: This team has be plague with more injures then any other team combine. They've already lost two centers for the season, their best player has been in and out of the line up due to nagging injures and yet they are in sixth place in a very difficult conference.
Finally defensive player of the year goes to Dwight Howard. This guy averages near 3 blocks a game. Even if he doesn't block the shot, he causes the player to alter/rush his shot resulting in a miss. He is a big part of why his team is the top defensive team in the entire league.
These are my opinions of who i felt deserved the award the most. Feel free to state your opinions. |
