The battlefield is breeding intolerance. Pure and simple. People wonder why the populus here is falling. Well, does anything think that Jessmop, a moderator, the founder of the biggest clan this site has ever seen, or ever will see, a person respected by several hundred fellow gamers, is debating leaving this site.

Bottom line, if you have a legitimate beef with someone, take it through the appropriate channels: moderators. That is what they are there for.

Sure I understand Treeeeezz position. But quite frankly his position is driving members away. It would be one thing to spook off the riffraff, but your policies treeeezz; are spooking away good members. The guys who are keeping this site going, and boosting it's reputation ARE LEAVING. And you want to let people continue with this nonsense?

I'm not saying we have no fun here, theres a ton of fun to be had. But this immaturity needs to go. This is a small community right now, there is no need for a battlefloor, everyone knows that they are all kidding when we flame each other.

I feel no need to flame people on the battlefloor, or to take my problems with other members there. I've boycotted the battlefloor since my arrival here. I've posted there a few times, but only posted info about things. If I have something to say about another member in a post and it's on a personnal level, you won't see me talking about their character flaws. That's not my fucking job in life. Others may be sadistic enough to want to flame someone they've never met, that lives thousands of miles away. That's fine, but keep it the fuck off the site, keep your personnal shit elsewhere. This is not faggot ass NJaguars site that allows that dumb shit to happen. There is in my opinion a better class of people here.

For the mods who care to check the validity of my statements, do feel free to research my posts, and see how many times I've reported the spam in the thread I've made, and how I've replied to those posts. Check for personnal attacks, check for flames, check for whatever you want. I don't care.

Bottom line. I like this site, there is a history here, and a ton of potential. But that potential won't be reached if theres such a ludicrious level of intolerance, most of which is hypocritcal. I've read too many people bitching about the other site's lax stance on the rules there, yet come over here and flame other people just because it's allowed. You don't see the hypocrisy there? Flaming/spamming are the same thing. And just because you can flame, doesn't mean you should.

nobody's making jessmop read the battlefloor. he's trying to moderate a section he has no business in. the site was fine (battlefloor and all) for much longer than jessmop has been here
i'm not saying that jessmop hasn't contributed to the site, just that him and keefer are the only reason that there's any percieved problem with the battlefloor at all

not one single person outsite of those 2 (and their respective personal posses) have ever voiced any opposition to the battlefloor in the history of this site, and i dont see why the entirety of our forum policy and culture needs to bend to the will of 2 people.

I'm going to college to learn creative writing. I can and will make some drama if I have to, and I don't relent. If you want it, just say so. I'll bring what I say. What kind of rationale is that? Thats idiotic. Just because it's pixels doesn't mean a person can't respect another persons thoughts on something, and take them to heart. And on the same token, take things personal when someone criticizes them. Even moreso, take things to heart when someone spends hours of their life pathetically flaming them.

And again, in the hopes of being reasonable. "Why should 10 people suffer because 2 people are being made to suffer by those 10 people?" I say this, why should those 2 people have to suffer for 10 peoples amusement? This isn't d2jsp. We should be better than that don't you agree?

1. I've made over a dozen LEGITMATE points. You've made perhaps 2 weak points.

2. The number of people that you keep bring up, "2" I had to struggle to find. Rest assured you were right. I did use the number 2 in reference to people. I said 1 or 2 mods would be sympathetic towards you. And 2 people in general reference to who is openly expressing a problem with the forum.

3. Stop making shit up. Or distorting, whatever it is your attempting to do. I never said 2 people like the forum. The number of people defending it right now in this thread is 2. That's about the closest your argument comes to validity here.

My points:

1. It drives members away from the site.

2. Driving away members of the site by the battlefield causes a lower trade economy. Meaning more members have to leave the site because theres no trade economy. And thats on all trading fronts.

3. There are other forums where people can "have fun." It's called the Jokers Realm, it's called the General Forum, it's called '(Game specific name here) Related Forum.

4. A new member seeing mods, senior members, members with ++ status flaming each other to hell may feel reproached by the actions here, and fear this is another d2jsp, and feel no need to join here.

5. The sight of members leaving because of SPECIFICALLY this forum, is a telltale sign, whether you like it or not that this forums IS a problem. And how you value yourself over them is beyond me. How you think that your better than a hundred potential members who have been scared off, or warded off by those scared off is beyond me. Your just selfish.

6. I don't even have a personal problem with the forum. That right there should be a clincher argument. I've never even been flamed in there, and may have had my name mentioned one time. The fact that I don't have a problem with other members posting about me there means I'm unbias towards those mannerisms.

7. You've been bring up repeatedly that I can't tolerate being flamed. OK, find me getting flamed in that forum. Go ahead. I'll wait.

8. There is already an established order for resolving personal problems with other members. There isn't a need to make things juvenile and ridicule, or directly insult another member. Use the moderators. That's why Tramway appointed them to there position. They are there to help you.

9. Saying that having a forum for useless posts doesn't remove the useless posts on the site. It only allows them to post even more useless posts altogether.

10. The battlefield hands down has the most posts on the site. Which brings up a technical issue. Useless spam is clogging the arteries of the site. Any other site I go to it takes 2 seconds to bring up the next page after I click on a link. I wait almost 10 seconds to enter the list of subforums from a link. Is there a connection? Perhaps not, but one may tend to think so. I believe that only Tramway could answer this question for certain.

11. Telling people that you enter at your own risk isn't going to keep people out who don't know what that forum is about. As for those who do know, why should they have to exempt themselves from a forum? May I remind you that the battlefield has tens of thousands of posts, and a huge portion of the posts pie to it's credit. Which means theres less posting in "everyone elses forums."

12. Do I need to go on? I've only clipped points out of 2 of my posts. And they are the first two. I have at least 5 more posts full of points to post.


Why don't you start by discrediting my points by alleviating any factual information in them. Go ahead. I'll wait. Because your going to have a pain in the ass of a time trying to do so. Nothings impossible, but you damn sure can't deny everything here.

Secondly, try posting your points in this fashion so I may have a crack at them like I gave you. I bet you don't get past 4 points after clipping them from all your posts here.
