Hey guys
who's going to play Diablo 3 on a Mac? Which Model are you using and what are your experiences so far?
I will play it on my Macbook Air, 13" 1,5 Ghz, 4GB Ram...should work, though!
Enjoy and see you soon!

Sorry, I totally failed up there!
I have a 1,7 GHz Intel Core i5, which is a Dual Processor.
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
I saw some guys playing it and recording...but the FPS wasn't that good..
Still I am sure Blizzard has in mind to attract also the Mac players!

I played the beta on middle graphics on my 4gb dual core macbook pro. Only real problem may be the graphics card, but as I understand it, it's a virtual graphics card that will take the rams off of your normal ram. But i'm not 100% sure I completely get that... Either way, the beta works just fine on my pro. _____________________ ONCETHEREWASALINKHEREANDNOWITISGONEYES

OS: Mac® OS X 10.6.8, 10.7.X (Last update)
Processor: Intel® Core 2 Duo
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT or ATI Radeon™ HD 2600 or better
Think you could run it, but with low graphic details.
I'm not a mac user but i highly recommand you to use something to use as "ventilo" ...
One of my friend playing some game with us with his mac (2,4 c2d + integrated GC and 4 go ram i guess)
get sounds problems and shutdown problems while playing.
Seems like the heat produced by components is too hot for it.

yah, im sure the i5 models can run d3, even being clocked at 1.7.
however, his gfx might not make the cut, you're right, it uses his normal ram as video ram.
as opposed to a desktop, which has dedicated ram on the video card.
OP, how many MB video memory does your mac say you have?

Think you'll play with low graphics details.
That's too bad cause with a quad core it would have been at least at medium quality settings with a 240+ nvidia i think.
But it'll run (unless graphic card is not supported by the game). _____________________

What is your affixe (or suffixe ? -.-") on card name ? 9400 gt, 9400 gs...
In fact 7800 gt were powerfull cards, They got above same perf than 8600 gt.
9600 - 9800 series were purely remix of 8800's series (note that 9800 GTX was better)
So i was just trying to enlight you about the fact your card is not that powerfull.
I'll work, but don't expect nice graphics from it (In fact i did tryed low details and it's not ugly, that's still confortable to play).
Edit is the "M" after the 8600 - GT a fail write or noes ?
Cause then my post is pointless if the M is real.
"M" are used by laptop, so performances are nerfed, and then your card should have a bit better render than i use to think
