I think it's bullshit they still get to even see the for trade sections if they are scammer tagged.

Yall need to change this quick because when I got on the site there were little to no scammers, now about 3/4 of the trading population is either a multi or scammer. Come on now..

Why and when did people trade with locked/scammer tagged people? So what if they are locked/tagged, dont trade with them. Let them realize what they've done and make them repay (if they have not) and if you really do want to trade with them - make sure that they upfront you or use a mediator like you are suppose to do.

I was the one ''leading'' this project - to make the locked/scammer tagged users unavailable to post in the trading and selling but it got shot down pretty quickly and now, afterwards, I really see no point in making them unable to post.. as said, make them upfront or trade with a mediator.

I see where your coming from and I'd do the same thing. But you can get away with it, without any consequences. Ok so they get tagged, but nothing else? Come on.

well, they were first tagged, then banned in the ''past'' but they dont do that anymore. The % of people getting tagged then wanting to be unlocked is like 0.0001% so I also see where you are coming from.. just ignore them. If they are troublesome they'll just get suspended/banned/warned

I agree totally, hide out the S/T section for them. Name one single reason why scammers should be allowed there?

If you're dumb enough to trade them, it's on you. Plain and simple.

If they were banned from the Selling and Trading forum then they would probably just make a new account. This would then be a vicious cycle. At least this way we know who the scammers are because they are tagged.

Why would scammers be allowed to post there. They shouldn't even be able to see what's going on there. The same goes for locked users (while they are under investigation)

Being dumb enough to trade with them has nothing to do with it. Plain and simple

Btw, people trade with locked users because they can be locked for the wrong reasons. (legit multi, false accusation etc). Even scammers can look reasonable safe to trade with if they offer to go first and they got legit looking bidders.

I saw your old bids in satan's topics for example. Imagine if a few mods bid there as well. Wouldn't that make new people drop the guard? (old posts remains when user get tagged)

I'll say it again:

If you're dumb enough to trade with them, you're an idiot. That is all.

Common sense. Sure, let's lock them out of everything too, why not.

No, I said lock them out from the S/T section. Scammers ain't allowed to trade there as far as I know so why should they be able to write/read there? If all locked/scammer tagged people were gone from there it would be a much cleaner place...just have a look and see for yourself.

Sure, people are idiots if they trade with them. (although i saw you discussing with satan after he got tagged). But since those idiots exists, why let them get scammed?

What I do is none of your business. Josh is a good friend of mine regardless of his actions.

As for locking them out of S/T, yes. But as of now there is no rule stating scammers cannot trade.

Some of us let them, some don't.

Perhaps this is a sensitive subject, him being your friend and all...

When you have a tag that involves a certain level of trust, let it be game moderator or something else...you do have some responsibilities though.
I don't think it's right bidding in his thread, do it in pm if you have to. You help trap other people that take your obvious trust in him as a sign of vouching.

He might not scam you but he can and WILL scam other members. He has stated it himself.

*Btw I just think the S/T section would be a better and cleaner place without all scammers/locked people posting there. Why I mentioned you is because you call people who deal with scammers idiots and then you do it yourself. I just found it hilarious...is all

So you're trying to say that my actions rub off on him?

Listen little man, we were friends before any of this happened for quite some time. What I decided to do had nothing to do with him, so as far as your trust bullshit goes you can fuck off.
He is a good guy.

In my eyes you are just a petty little scammer Satan, you are the lowest kind of people on sites like this. You can keep trying to insult me but it won't work. I'm way above you.

To answer your question btw...no your actions don't rub off on him. But I question if a member like him should openly bid and trade with scammers. Only reason I mentioned it was because he said it was none of my business. (sounded a bit arrogant in my eyes...and from a big perspective I kinda disagree with that statement)

This is not the battlefield though and I have no intentions of going O/T

So I'll just say once again that I don't think scammers/locked people should be allowed to post in the S/T section.
