gadafi has officially declared war on his own people. what is the international community going to do? usa has huge invested interests in the area, are they going to act? should they act? whatcha all think?

NATO is such an inept organization, as bad as the UN. It will literally take weeks before they agree to send any aid/troops and that's too late. If you're going to act, it has to be now (or in the next coming days) or don't act at all. Acting in 2 weeks is just a waste of funds because at that time the damage will be done.

It's up the the US and England if anything is going to happen. Personally I feel American aid will GREATLY help their appearance in the Islamic community, at least the actual citizens of the Islamic nations even if the heads don't agree. it is a financially beneficial and positive moral decision, and i feel it will eventually be done.

edit: maybe not soon enough though, obama's latest statement said the US is hesitant to go alone (obviously understandable) and would like to get cooperation with other countries (nato/un/uk)before making a decision
