I got a nook yesterday and have two books downloaded for it.
My goal is to read at least a book a week.
I have The Green Mile. And I downloaded The Lovely Bones.
I have a little wish list.
But I want a HUGE wishlist.
What are your favorite books? _____________________ Who will be your pretty little enemy?

Natural Born Cyborgs by Andy Clark
my latest read, absolutely fantasic book talking about where our current civilization is heading. he's a neurosurgeon so all his evidence he uses in that books if first hand knowledge. such an entertaining read i cannot even tell you. i will send you the book for free if you promise to read it, i think everyone should read it. tells you a lot about the potential of the human brain |

<3 Timbuktu even though it's unrelated to what you're talking about.

miss prise. you need to read "american gods" by neil gaimon... or anything by neil gaimon or douglas adams!
great writers.
but if you want some like sad novels you could go the classic approach
Flowers for algernon(already mentioned)
freak the mighty (little bit of a childs book but still good)
the secret life of bees (not too terribly sad but a decent read)
I always suggest john grisham books. mainly like the pelican brief, the firm, the client (really good).
David Stone does some nice work too, he is mainly fantasy though. like old school magic and medieval stuff.
surprisingly the diablo and warcraft books are pretty good (i got them for free so i read em ) Starcraft books were ok but im not a sci fi person. _____________________

it's Gaiman, dipshit. Neil Gaiman. The 'o' too close to your 'a' so your sloppy fingers aren't able to hit the right buttons? Or are you just stupid?
That being said; Anansi Boys and American Gods are both incredibly well written, well thought out books. Just as great are his Graphic Novels of both Sandman and Death.
And how the fuck can you say "i'm not that much into sci fi" when you're mentioning Douglas Adams as an author? Correct me if I am mistaken, but did he not write Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy? That's a sci fi, right there.

actually, ive been calling him gaimon for years, it wasnt until i picked up my copy of american gods that i realized it was man instead of mon lmao.
and douglas adams is the only exception to the sci fi thing, thats why i said "i'm not that much into sci fi".
its ok, i still love you bobby muh boy!
