does anyone know what kind of batteries the wii uses?

do i really need the charging station along with rechargable batteries? or is that just an option thats nice to have?

Wii uses ' AAA' batteries.

The charging station is nice to have and after a few uses it pays for itself instead of buying batteries constantly.

I want to use my wii for netflix mainly. but after a while i will buy wii sports, wii fit, etc.

but for right now tell me what i need to buy, just the minimal to buy to get my wii to work for netflix.

remote? nuncrunks? motionplus? charger? sensor bar?

i don't know what i need to do this. so please tell me the minimal cheapest way to get it to do netflix.

ill soft mod it if i have to. i will be getting the dvd from netflix to make it work. but what do i need for wii to buy?

i read somewhere they take AA. But I can get 2300MaH rechargeables for it. I will wait to get the charger and rechargeable batteries.
