|
|
Okay, so basically I have a 03 user I bought. He gave me the password and email and I changed both. Is there ANY way he can recover it back? I've noticed he donated to the site, and I also noticed that there's a account recovery page if you forgot your email address. I just want to be 100% sure there's no way this guy can recover it back later down the road. ((Saw where he can enter his paypal address and the amount he spent to buy fg to recover.))
I also thought about doing a name change, but will my name also change in the gold logs? Cause part of the payment, was through FG, and I sent him 5k FG. Ty. |

If you do a namechanfe then your Name will change in all goldlogs, too.
I think he can't recover his account if you got the Email and the password. _____________________

You sure though? I mean I was thinking that, but then i was also thinking, "Why would they have a account recovery page stating to click there if you no longer have access to email." |

I am sure that no one will give that much Information just to recover an account. _____________________

All it ask for is how much you spent or donated on the site, your paypal email address, an where you lived when you first made the account. Basically stuff they already know. Sorry just really paranoid lol, want to be certain. |

He can get it back.
He will just PM njaguar saying the account was stolen, and your d2jsp will be back in his hands. This has happened to me once when I brought a 04 account, wont ever happen again though since I know how to avoid it(dont buy accounts that has donated) |

Ugh, Just what I was afraid of. What if he doesn't know the amount donated? And what if i were to put my paypal on there and donate myself?
My plan is this, wait a month, change name. Go on a different computer at friend's house, create a accout using the old name I bought. ((Since it'll be available once i name change.)) An I'm wondering if I donate using my paypal, that will make it impossible for him to get it back.
Another question, if I had this acct for at least 2 months, you think it's safe to say it's mine for good? So if he did try to get it back he'd have no luck?

There is a chance njaguar will just change pass and email and it will never be touched again.
There is also a chance he will recover it. The only way I know of to keep yourself safe is to change your name, and hopefully he doesn't know your profile link so he won't ever find you again _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |

Changing email is also an option but I do not recommend that since paul might take a look at what's going on. _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |

Njaguar never ever dealt with account thefts/sales
Kevin does this, Paul's brother did that before Kevin, and Gary did it for 4 years.
@OP your best bet is to change your account name, erase exisiting blogs on this account, remove any gfx that my identify this account and hope for the best. Since he donated he will always have a chance to get the account back unless he donated through donate for me thread.
