I know you all are smart so here is what im confused about. Sorta simple stuff I think...

When they say like sinA = (random negative ratio) and then solve for A when 0<A<360, two answers appear. Is it that angle must be equal to any ratio as long as it is less than 360 and greater than 0?

Number 2: I don't understand how tanA = (some negative ratio) gives a negative angle, but since it must be less than 360 and great than 0 a random positive answer appears...

I need someone to teach me this lol. The whole angles area of grade 11 math.

Umm im not sure what u are asking, but your answer is limited from 0-360 because it repeats itself afterwards. So basically you can have infinite answers, but they only want you to answer whats between 0-360

In some places they teach Algebra 2 first. But yeah, could you actually post a sample problem? No one understands what you mean atm.

EDIT: If you are using a ti calculator to figure this out, set the mode from radian to degree.

question #1:

sin(x) is cyclic, look here:

x1 = 0 = 0°
x2 = 3,1214 = pi = 180°
x3 = 6,2.... = 2pi = 360°

y(x) = y(x+2pi)

because a period of a circle is 2pi = 360°

question#2:

just look at this picture smile

same period but another function tan(x) =sin(x)/cos(x)
