What is a ISP and how can I contact them? Also, what is a MAC address?
I have a dinamic ip I think.. but it doesn't change everytime I connect to the net or I do the cmd-ipconfig/release-ipconfig/renew thing. How can I change a static ip or such a strange dinamic ip..??
I am trying to browse d2jsp again cuz I got ip banned due to an accident. Please help with whatever you can. I appriciate it.
Thanks! _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |

isp is your internet service provider. The company you buy your internet through.
getting around the ip ban is a little tricky. You need a program that masks your ip, I would start with Hotspot Shield and see if that works |

Only problem is that there are thousands of other people using hotspot shield as well, more then likely you'll get banned.
Just call up the company that supplies your internet to you and ask if you have a static or dynamic IP address. If they say you have a static, you can not change it, if you have a dynamic, you're in luck.
Now I know you've looked at all the tutorials on the internet because you've tried the old old trick of CMD -> ipconfig /release -> ipconfig /renew. That only works if you have a direct connection to the internet and are not going through a modem or router (wall to the computer).
Since you are using a router you should be able to log into it and find a section that allow you to either clone, or change the MAC Address. Locate that.
Once you find it, you'll see something like
xx xx xx xx 4A 2B
You can change the last two numbers around in any which way you like, but do not touch the rest (can't remember the reasoning, just don't).
After that there should be a section that allows you to release the connection (kind of like the CMD method, but through the router). Release the connection, wait at least 30 seconds, the re-connect. You're IP should now be changed if you have a dynamic connection.
If your IP doesn't change, release it again (don't change the MAC again just yet) and wait 2-5 minutes then reconnect, I've sometimes had the problem where it picks up on the old connection instead of requesting a new one. _____________________

Yes bro I did exactly this method before you posted here
Works 100% perfectly, my banned ip is unbanned now
I can change my ip anytime, btw why did you say I shouldnt touch only the last 2 numbers in my MAC address? I clicked on 'clone MAC address' and well it works so.. _________________ This user's signature has been disabled |
