i am installing diablo 2 again.

i am trying to make it to where i don't need a cd to play and I want it to lag as little as possible.

Which one do I do?

[ ]Multiplayer install
single/multi player required for battle.net (recommended)

[ ]Full Install
single/multi player, includes movies, no CD swapping.

I don't care about the movies between acts. I just want to be able to play LOD without using the CD disk to play.

can someone plz help me? I want to make sure I do the right one.

does it matter which one I do to play without using the disk? I know that I have to copy the files from the cd to do it. but wondering which install I should do

All that matters is you take certain files from the LOD CD and put it into your diablo II directory

i gave up and did the quick multi install to see if it would work. i am not lagging no more.

install diablo 2 and d2 LoD
connect to bnet to update
then put LoD back in and upgrade install
THEN copy the required mpq's over
you should be good

U drag the files from the cd and put it into the d2 folder
