Religion

Ive been an atheist for around 3-4 years. i used to go to church as a child. as a church goer my life was hell(i will not explain). as soon as i stopped believing my life became better. But, im tired of all theocism (racism of theology, i made it up). So i have been researching religions.. my favorite so far is bahaism. But i wonder... Why do others believe in an omnipresent being. Try your best to explain your belief system. DO NOT LEAVE FLAWS IN LOGIC. i do not want any useless flames or others. I would like answers.

P.S. there will be no bashing of any religion in this thread. As an atheist my key moral was NEVER HINDER SOMEONES FAITH. If you do not have a positive thing to add do not add it.

As i am already an atheist i do not need to hear about atheism or agnostic.

If you mention scientology you will be ignored completely.

use only logic, not emotion.

Do not quote the bible, i want what you think. I have read the bible old and new testament, Did not find anything to instill faith so it obviously wont work for myself.

Again sorry for the rules but i know a topic like this could be an issue. but, the battlefield is the only place i would feel right putting it since it says enter at your own risk.

the real question how did anything become to exist

if god did create it how did god become to exist?

under other therorys how did anything ever exist what was first? did it just pop?
