Playing competitive poker on D3Jsp with forum gold.

What you will need

1. Aol Instant Messenger. Here is the link for download any version will do. http://dashboard.aim.com/aim

2. You will need Pokerstars..

You will need to download this and follow the setup instructions.
Make an account and validate e-mail under Account > Validate e-mail here is a pic.

Setting Pokerstars filter for D3jsp gameplay.

Pokerstars game spawn system is kinda screwy it spawns games ONLY you yourself cannot create a game and have friends join so this is what you will need to do.
Make sure ‘’Sit and Go’‘ is highlighted red along with ‘’Play Money’‘ Next go to your
‘’Sit and Go’‘ filter at the bottom left of the Pokerstars lobby, click it and a menu will pop up with check marks on everything...yours should look like this in order to play.

Finding/joining the match

You will announce in the betting forum how much forum gold you would like to play for and the type of poker you would like to play.
Example 25fg h/u (Heads up) aka (1v1)
Who ever will want to play you will give you their AIM so you can msg them for the game.
To avoid being welched please state BOTH D3jsp and Pokerstars names along with the fg amount wagered. This avoids any confusion and will stop hopefully all scam/welching.
Example:
AIM conversation.
Me: IamError@D3jsp, SoBr00tal@Pokerstars 25fg H/u correct?
You: Example@d3jsp here, Example@Pokerstars ..Correct!

The next part is the tricky part since Pokerstars spawns games instead of let users create them you have to join the same game before someone else joins, here is the easiest possible way to do this.

There will be 1 to 3 games up usually with your filters setup the way they are. When you look at the ID number of the game you will want to tell the person you are playing the last 2 digits of the ID and both join that game quickly as possible.


Here’s how it should go.

AIM conversation
Me: 60 fast pls.
(You should be joining)

In the game you should both see each others Pokerstars names. There is a one minute wait before the game starts. Then good luck and have fun.


D3jsp poker slang and abbreviations

H/u - Heads up (1v1)
A/I - All in (All in on first hand winner takes fg)
Don - Double or nothing (Top 2 or 3 players double up.)
Example: 30fg 4 man don 1st and 2nd receive 60 3rd and 4th lose their 30fg
Wta - Winner takes all (self explanatory eh?) 4 to 9 man game.
