for a user to gain reputation another user must rep them aka they click that little thumbs up icon and write a comment and click submit to up your rep
every user on the forum can rep another user 1 time and 1 time only
there really isn't a limit to the number but people won't rep you for no reason normaly
some will rep cause your friend others won't some will rep for a good trade and ect.
as far as i know theres no limit to the rep system.
