to be honest, i have a feeling in the pit of my stomache that d3 is going to be an epic failure like hellgate: london was..... i think it will be a kickass game but they wont have the servers/ ability to run it without errors, then they will find some way to make it so that you have to pay money monthly or a one time fee to get special material that normal gamers wont.

All in all, ive been playing the diablo series since i was 8 years old and the fact that it took them 10 years just to really start development of a game that was an international hit for years. just shows that this is a second thought, they are going to try and make a different version of WoW to catch the players that do not want to pay monthly fees. As for starcraft 2...... i dont know i keep hearing its been released but when i look for it it says its not released yet.. so i just dont know. so here are the games that i suggest people buy for the upcoming 2-3 years

Guildwars 2
Diablo 3
Starcraft 2

in my opinion it's 50/50 on it being epic or an epic failure.
it depends on what all they do with the game.
if they make it too much like wow, it's going to be a failure.
but, then again, it looks nothing like wow really.
it all depends on how smoothly the game play is and how big of a change from diablo 2 it is.
and if it's still enough like diablo 1 & 2 to attract the same fans.
