I will use a med and when I do, will let him check emails for me...
There is one thing I am concerned about, however. Would it raise a red flag to these jsp moderators if the med - let's say he's from Sweden - logs onto my account to check, etc. and once he's done mediating and the trade is complete, the buyer - let's say he's from Australia - logs in... ?

Yes.
2-3 ips in a short period = disabled right away.
If you get a moderator to med the trade, he would probably just be with you on teamviewer.
