I have noticed that almost everyone buying/selling D2jsp FG atm is getting locked and the FG is being lost, leaving the buyer having to eat the money and leaving the seller losing their remaining FG.
(This includes myself)

This thread is to help you guys trade safer and hopefully stop this problem..

This is my method. I don't see how in any way shape or form they could prove you wrong and lock either of you.

1) Pick a forum to post a thread in. (Make it a forum that the seller is active/was once active in or a game where BOTH of you have accounts/have posted before)
For argument's sake we will use D3 America Softcore.

2) So the user selling the FG makes a topic in the D3 America Softcore section saying "Buying D3 IGG"
Pick a random ratio, it doesn't really matter, just make it realistic.

3) The buyer then waits a few minutes (don't want it to be instant, too obvious) and then posts that he has X amount of IGG (Depending on the ratio you posted)

4) Then you PM each other back a fourth a few times (they can and do review things like this) describing the trade, battletags, amount, etc (use a friends if you don't actually have one)

5) Maybe at the end even throw in "This PM is to confirm I am XXX on Diablo trading XXX IGG vs your XXX FG" to make it really believable.

6) Then send conduct your trade.

I understand it seems like a lot and you just want to buy/sell your FG. But trust me when I say it is worth it, why risk losing it all just because it takes a little longer?

Also if at all possible I recommend NOT making a multi, sending the FG to them, then selling it, they can still trace the FG and raises even more flags on their radars. Just use your main JSP account. Using this method they can't touch you anyway.

the only problem with this method is if, either the buyer or the seller is in bed with d2jsp.

try trading via pm. Maybe delay your public trades 24hrs+ if you can after an agreement is met.

Try to develop a buyer/seller relationship.
It's never a good idea to sell to brand new accounts or anyone who hasn't been trading here for some time.
It wouldn't be at all hard to believe he has people with accounts on this site site who trade his fg solely to catch them, because this underground business is money he can't make a profit off of. He's a tyrant.
Never trade too hastily.

Look at this thread for instance; - http://www.d3jsp.org/viewtopic.php?t=115541 - a few weeks after it was up everyone who posted is either locked/banned/scammer. Never rush a trade here.

Another good way is to not post how much you want to buy/sell here, only in pms. and when you do trade the fg, use an oddball number like 2100 or 1345 or something not easily trackable for jsp to watch for a 2k transaction at this time and shit like that. Just what ive done in the past
