How does the item Lock work?

It says you buy the Lock and then pm an admin for which threads you want locked..?
Do I have to pm one each time I want to close a thread because I was hoping to post/lock/unlock/post/lock/unlock/post in my music thread. Seems like a pain in the ass if I have to rely on someone else to do it for me.

Maybe it just doesn't work anymore.
If it does there should be a little lock button right under where you click reply to threads at the bottom... If not then you need the VIP rank for that.

The items requiring VIP first should all be disabled until you unlock VIP so people don't waste FG on it. tongue

The only inventory I wanted was for locking stuff. sad I think I have to buy VIP but I'm not sure if I'll be able to disable it from showing up as VIP.
