| This was Nate's idea and I think it is one of the best ones that have been thrown around in some time. Make the s/t forum available for donors only. Minimum of $5 imo, or an m++ tag. this would SEVERELY cut down on the multis/scammers that keep advantage of people. Your thoughts? |

Well I want to mention this is a good idea, but still
not everyone is a scammer, therefor it would had disadvantages for users, who aren't scammers and haven't donated.
I dont know, this sounds good, but I doubt it gets added.

Even if you made it $1 to use the section, it would still deter a lot of scammer from making the 10+ multis. |

How so? Spending $1 to get $80 back isn't much of a deterrence. It seems more like you're saying tram should get a piece of the action.

scammers that do donate often charge back via paypal
though that would make things harder for them to require donor access , members ++ , or a mod approval |

How so? Spending $1 to get $80 back isn't much of a deterrence. It seems more like you're saying tram should get a piece of the action. |
$80 scams don't happen too often. even ancients who was one of the site donators got banned scamming like $40 odd. anyway the pressure would be on the multis to scam once they invest $1 and in being more blatant i think it would be more obvious to other members that they are actually a scammer. |

i didn't realize charging back was that common, i guess this idea is pretty much nulified due to that. mod approval is a step in the right direction though. |

Also which is why we change Members++ to Donors++ and then we're set

Overall I agree.
No doubt it wouldn't hurt anything and even if the improvement if offers can be nulified by chargeback it still is something beneficial despite how slight. |

How long do they have to charge back an account?
Make it so there is no way to charge back before they get Donor access.
And I say UP the price of DF access.
And you should need a certain amount of posts too before being able to trade.
Though if you're making people pay for trading, then we should figure out a way that it is 99.9% they wont get scammed.
Also, maybe add a smaller fg donation that they can gain access. Say 500? Because they would need to do a trade for the 500. Unless they spam 1,000 posts.
Which I don't see happening.
Just throwing some ideas in there. Nothing 100%

To account for scanners chargebacking donations to go around this new hypothetical rule
...just make them wait 30 days for the chargeback period time to expire (if they use paypal funds) |
