I see people take the warn giving them to to easily, "hey it just warn it does nothing until highest percent" blah blah blah
I believe we need to enable some kind of useful reduction as a punishment. What does a user use the most.
example to enforce that warn to do a damn have it like something this:
2x = sig/ava/profile "maybe" rights removed
4x = removing posting rights (must be approved by a mod in selected forums say trading for example)
6x = 2 week suspension from d3jsp
8x = 1 month suspension from d3jsp
10x = Banned either for good, or for a long time to think about what occured, and what actions could have been taken
something in that general area to better the site and enforce the rules.

mayb depending on wat they get the constant warns 4 can result in certain punishments?
aka constant spamming 4 fg could result in a temp lock+removal of fg earned from the spamming
or memebrs++ that use the no flood control 2 spam cud get it temp or perm removed
and i think posting rights shud b more of 8-10x warn (xcluding bf unless 1 warn actually came from breaking 1 of the few rules there)(also xcluding the
subforum/forum of the clan there in unless a warn is from there, but remove +.5fg 4 posting there 4 that person)
mayb removal of the +.5 in every forum after so many warns?
i agree with the remove sig/ava rights at 2-3x, possible xceptions depending on reason 4 warn (or remove the rights upon violation and not changing it after having been verballed )
mite have more ideas l8r XD

20% Warn : No FG per post
40% Avatar/Signature rights removed (also this user won't be able to see the other's signatures+avatars)
60% Pm rights Removed
80% 1 week ban
100% 1 month ban (after it ends , moving back to 80%) .
Something like this will be much more smart and won't make the users to create a multi . |

look @ the other site , look how this is working for them. Its not really , still probs over 75 % of users have warnings
id say half of them have over 30 %. ppl that wanna break the rules wont stop jsut because stuffs taken from them.
But one idea i do really like :

this is not a idea from any other site, d2jsp has a shitty warn system that is pointless takes away things that no one cares about
I am saying what the hell is the point of even using a warn bar if it does nothing until 100%, pointless

I think the part of loosing FG per topic/post rights is the most smart idea that i had in the past month 
Think about it . It will make the peoples to follow the rules , becouse if they don't , they are basicaly loosing FG 
Also remember that the warns are expiring  |

adding onto this maybe disable per person at x warn post count increase - So the posts he/she makes does not increase
and I think have your forum gold locked even temp locked isnt fair to even have that on a users account if they did nothing wrong but maybe disable the use of forum gold until warn goes from xx to xx

not necessary I understand what you are saying but there should be a set system if this does go into play somehow of like x amount of verbal warnings before warning a user depending on the situation/rule broken

how about this instead
10% warn = no fg per post and right to dl files lost
20% warn = flood delay timer uped to 1 minute
30% warn = rights to use the [img] bbcode and [youtube] lost
40% warn = flood delay timer uped to 2 minutes
50% warn = lose sig and ava rights along with profile block rights
60% warn = clan rights lost
70% warn = flood delay timer uped to 3 minutes and pm box size cut in half
80% warn = fg automaticly locked
90% warn = lose of rights to post anywere but rules and support and battlefield
100% warn = banned |

sounds like a better plan but for the 80% auto lock I disagree, the forum gold should never be locked but should be disabled
when a user is locked is usually means you have done something seriously wrong and in this case you have and you havnt

do u think 80% warn is not seriously ? This means that he is continuing spamming over the forum afrer TONS of verbals and non-verbals . |
