i think the current is fine, if any different then i suppose a glowing outline can be a lil touch. or make them actual bronze, silver, gold and then after the 1-4 stars per b,s,g you can have a more standout out star set and at one point if donations are high enough then you could have a custom star option in which you can have your own star/etc. at that point.

Most of those stars are weird and ugly anyways. But I must admit some of them are very much liked  .
Such as putting two colors into one star.
Like this for example.
Not 100% like this just as an example of a two colored star.
Ah, the image does not work. But it is a red outline with orange in the middle, it looks really good. Maybe we should try to make a star like that But with different colors
Like a blue star with lite blue in the middle.
