343 supervised the halo franchise since Bungie bailed themselves out of Microsoft's control. They said that Reach was going to be their last game, actually. 343 is making halo 4, and 5 and 6. It's a trilogy. 5 and 6 is said to come out on the next gen consoles (whaaateeever)
halo CE is already good enough on the PC...
the only reason people still play it is BECAUSE its on the pc...
if they remake it using Reach's engine and stuff its just not ganna be the same... (although definetly better though... since halo CE's aiming and sniping is crap XD)
i just dont like how they are making this one of their stupid projects all the way until november... aka we wont be seeing anything good in all this time :/
but... i am not complaining that much... since i thought it was suppose to end forever lol

honestly, i think it's pretty cool that they're doing a remake. But that's mainly for the online shit. Co op and competetive play in halo ce? Hellsyea! What sucks is that they're just applying the reach engine to the game. If i wanted to play reach, i'd play reach, not halo ce. I'd say the #1 engine for mods. So many great games from the same engine. I have over 10 community created mods from the Source engine on my Steam account.

second of all... the only other halo game NOT made by bungie was that Halo Wars thing... and we all know how that turned out...

Rumors about REACH bieng the last game by Bungie rather than the last game ever have been around ever since REACH dropped.
And I hated Halo Wars. Took it back the day I bought it. But these games have potential. There's a lot of story line left out anyways. However I wonder how they'll add on to it. o_O
