I Love D2 PVP.

We all know D2 is a legendary OnlineRPG game. 12+ years and ppl still playing. Lot of MMORPG followed and looked up to D2 when making their games, like 2Moon. Before the release, when they were picking people for closed beta, they had a questionnaires relating to Diablo 2. If i remember correctly, they asked if you had played D2 and how was your experience. What you liked about it and what u didn't.

Personally, I love how the dueling is set up on D2. I wouldn't say its perfectly balanced, but its balanced enough to have pure competition. No 1 char build is GOD. There are atleast 2-3+ kinds of build for each chars. Thats 7x3 = 21+++++++ builds that can PVP competitively.
Probably more than 50+ known builds.

D2 PVM is nonexistant. Hardcore can be fun, but once u die, u want to slit ur wrist. And who wants to repeat it 2 more times again??? PVM is for mf bots.
D3 will have Epic PVM and hopefully the PVP will mount up to D2 standards.
I played other MMORPG games. But over the years, I come back to D2 again and again. The pvp dueling never gets old.

Looks a bit different than D2, but I can see it working for me. Especially the team duels. It looks fun.

If you dueled GM 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 and you were somewhat decent at dueling. You know a round of duel can last a quite a long time.
But, in pub games, people die left and right really quickly. But that really isn't fun. It gets boring after killing countless pubs in couple of hits. And the modding... don't even get me started... Modding pretty much killed pub duels... Hate modders...
If you enjoy competitive dueling, you know what I'm talking about.
I'm not sure about how balanced D3 will be. But at least it won't have fucking modders/hackers. Right?
