Can anyone give me the names of some good RPG's for the PS3?
Turn-based RPG's preferred.
Eternal Sonata/Blue Dragon/Final Fantasy style. _____________________

Yeah.. Looked up Sacred 2, looks pretty bad.. and that's the wrong kind of RPG.
Star Ocean looks neat.
Do you know any games like FFT or Disgaea? I'm waiting on Disgaea 4 to come out.. but I want to play something in the meantime. ;\ _____________________

If you know of any turn based or tactical RPG's, let me know please.
I looked up Tales of Vesperia battle system and
"As with previous Tales games, characters can move freely around the battlefield to combat their enemies in real-time."
Real-time isn't my thing. =P _____________________

It's not as real time as you may think, I mean it kinda is but isn't to the point of like Fallout or Fable (similar to Eternal Sonata and Valkyria Chronicles). If you've played Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube you would know (has an awesome story). ToS: Dawn of the New World was the only one I found kinda different (and short at that for the Wii).
As far as turn based games go for the PS3 (I honestly haven't found any good turn based games since Shining Force II & III for the Sega Genesis and the Breathe of Fire series), the only one I can think of is Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (basing it off of all the other Disgaea games gameplay (I have not yet played this game hoping to get it soon)). _____________________

Called my local EB Games to find out if they carried any turn based RPG's and the guy working there went on for about 2-3 minutes about a game called Atelier Rorona:The Alchemists of Arland and a game called Cross Edge.
Looked them up online, Atelier looks pretty neat. Think I'm going to get that game. _____________________

Cross Edge is a little different, I have yet to play Atelier (another one on my list ). Let me know if you get it / play it if it's any good. _____________________

Thinking about getting it today. My sister wants Sonic so if I go get her that, I'll pick up Ateleir and a few other random games.
Cross Edge is supposed to be turn based but every rating it has received = horrible.. I'll probably get it anyways down the line. _____________________

Bought Atelier Rorona:The Alchemists of Arland for about $70.
Not a fan of it.. only played an hour or so, but the RPG element is second to making items and doing favors for people.
The cell shading is sexy, though... _____________________

Sounds pretty good to me. That's one of the more annoying features of games these days. _____________________

I like the achievments/trophies. Gives you something to aim at, and for perfectionists or people who want to 'show off', it's something to go by a little bit.
I finished my Marvel game already.. in game it says I'm done 100% but only 75ish% done with the trophies. I won't be able to get 100% since the DLC doesn't work for some reason.. _____________________

I'd rather play the game for the game, not to compare e-peen with someone halfway across the world.
And half of the things they give you trophies for are just retarded. Like shooting a zombie in the head while it's jumping in RE5. _____________________

The trophies I go for are like.. Win 100 matches online on NHL or something. The silly ones I don't really do unless they aren't out of my way to complete.
Competitiveness makes games even more fun in some cases. _____________________
