Method = Neopet Dailies, and completing games!
Difficulty = Beginner
Possible Income = Average 1,000-100,000+ NPs per day (Based on your time investment/ skill)
Minimum NP required = None!

In order to make NPs with this method, assuming that you have ZERO NPs to start with you must first play games, most of the games are based on everyday games that we find in many other internet style arcades. NPs arcade = www.neopets.com/games/arcade.phtml

I suggest that you find X amount of games(the more the better), that you are naturally good at completing with decent scores, and complete them every day, and do not submit your scores if they are not at least decent for your personal skill level! You can receive up to 1,000 NPs 3x daily for an extremely high game score in as many games as you are willing to play!, also if you are the #1-3 high scorer you will receive a daily bonus of NPs, the high score tables reset periodically, so remember to keep playing games!

Then when you have completed the amount of games that you wish to play, take your NPs and go through the Daily Neopets activities that I have provided a link for above. You have very little control over these activities, and all information that I am willing to provide is in the guide!

Complete this process every day, as extensively as possible in regards to amount of games played, and you will maximize your NPs profit!

This method is the only guaranteed method of making NPs! Other methods require skill and smart decisions on your part!



Method = The Neopets Stock Market!
Difficulty = Medium
Average Profit = 15,000-75,000+ Per day, although profit is not received until investments are sold!
Minimum NP required = 15,000 NP per day


Okay, it is my suggestion that you also use the gaming, and Daily activities method to fund your stocks, if you are not ALREADY NPs wealthy!

The Neopets stock market is a game that simply, raises and lowers set values of simulated companies, over a period of time, allowing you to buy stock shares at a low price, and PATIENTLY wait to cash in on your investments! The minimum price to be able to buy NPs stocks are 15NPs per share, and you have a maximum of 1,000 shares per day to buy!

One of the key factors to cashing in on the NPs is having the discipline to only buy stocks at 15NPs per share; As well as not selling them until they are worth your personally established price per share!

Find a stock, or all stocks that are priced at 15NPs per share, and buy them! If there are multiple stocks priced at 15NP per share, I suggest that you buy the stock that you have the least shares of! Or, if there are two Neopet Stocks that you do not have, and are priced at 15NPs per share, make the decision of which stock to invest in on your own.

Now, to establish your selling price; The average person to the best of my knowledge sells stocks at 30NPs per share, so that they can cash out less NP, more frequently; But if you are more patient, and would like to maximize profit, Set a selling price for yourself that is much higher! I.E. 90NPs per share; Of course you will not be cashing in on NPs as often as others, but you will be making 3x-more times the amount of NPs that it would be possible for them to make selling at a lower price!

I suggest if you are going to cash out at a higher stock market price, while keeping your shares spread out over various stocks, you also Eliminate stocks that you feel are going nowhere! (I've had 9,000 shares of EEEE for like 2-3 years, it is possible that I missed it going up, but it doesn't happen very often!) If you do decide you are going to Eliminate a stock from your portfolio, I would suggest that you disregard your self-set selling price, and sell at 30NPs per share, like everyone else; otherwise your investment might just go on, never profiting and resulting in you losing the NPs you invested. Also, if a stock doesn't appear to be going up to 30NPs per share, sell it at 15NPs per share! But DO NOT sell at a loss unless you are desperate for the NPs, think of it as money in the bank!

After a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months of buying NPs stocks, you will eventually have a stock reach your Self-set selling price, this is the time to SELL, SELL, SELL! You have finally made profit! And if you do the math you will realize, pending on your self set price, you have made xx amount of NPs per day for the share that you have chosen! I personally think that when it pays off this is astounding!

There really isn’t much else to this method, you’ve invested, waited patiently, and then profited! The rest is just research and experience! And remember! I suggest that you combine this method with the NPs games, and dailies method in order to make profit, and not diminish your on hand NPs by investing it all in stocks! Any day you run out of NPs to invest you can’t make your stock market profit for that day!


Method = Restocking Neopet Shops!
Difficulty = Hard!
Possible Income = ASTRONOMICAL! (Based on your skill, experience, and pricing!)
Minimum NP required = 50,000 – 250,000 NPs!


This is by-far the hardest method of making NPs to get started! You can lose your shorts in this really fast! Do not go jumping into shops and buying all available items! Most of those items are only there because others were smart enough NOT to buy them! And remember there are many, many, many others doing this same exact thing, in the same exact shop, and some of them even have automated programs specifically designed to buy profitable items! (auto refreshing, auto buying, and auto – selling)

Although it is not commonly mentioned there are actually two methods to doing this, buying items from Neopet shops in the world of Neopia, or even buying from user-based shops!

A lot of people are not aware of it but all Neopet user shops are listed in groups of four letters or numbers; unless you are a Neopets premium user, in this case you would always get the lowest prices first! What this means is, that if an item is priced at 999 NPs in one group, it might not be sold in another group at all; so 99,999 would be the lowest! Price listed!

The Neopets shop wizard does always return the lowest prices items, instead it returns the lowest priced items in pre-determined groups that are separated by the first letter of the users account here is a list of groups provided by Neopets. In a previous issue of the Neopian times

I can’t vouch whether or not these groups are out of date, perhaps they change periodically; but if you use the shop wizard frequently you will eventually start to notice patterns.

The first method of making money via Neopet shops is by far more profitable for premium users; Than it is for F2P users, first you have to find an item that you want to buy; The best way to make this choice is by finding an item that has a very broad selling price; One that is highly sought after, for instance treasure map pieces partly because there are all 9 of them, when you search them in the shop wizard they are all by the same name; For a new user it would be relatively complicated to definitively separate the map pieces by price.

First you would go to the shop wizard, and search for your map piece, once you have returned results; Do you see the first letter of your username in any of the shops returned? If not continue refreshing until you have found your shop group! Now that you have found your shop group, you find the lowest selling price in your shop group; Your selling price will be slightly below this.

After establishing the price that you will be selling at, next you go to the shop wizard again, which might be most practical in a new window or tab; As to keep your shop groups prices at hand for reference. After refreshing a few times, you will eventually find a shop group that has the same specific items at a substantially lower cost, now you want to open those shops; Verify that it is the same map piece that you are looking for, and if it is buy as many of these items as possible!

After buying the items simply repost them in your shop at your previously determined price, and then for each item sold the price difference between buying and re-selling will be your profit.

Premium Neopets users have an advantage with this method, due to the fact that they have access to the regular shop wizard, returning items in groups as said before; as well as a premium search that will simply return to them the lowest priced item!

So all they would have to do is find their groups price, and then buy all of the items cheaper, and repost them!


Second method, of restocking via Neopets, is a lot more time consuming, takes more skill, and also has more potential for you to lose money whether than profit, but inevitably you could potentially make over 1million NPs off of one buy!

To do this method you must first choose an item type that you wish to sell, you want the item to be in relatively high demand, the items that I suggest are:

Books
Battle Dome items
Rare foods
Wearable items
PetPets

There are a lot of variables in deciding which item to sell, such as how often do the shops restock? How many items restock? Does it seem like there are a lot of buyers in the shop that I select? Can I afford to continue to buy these items multiple times a day, until I find buyers for what I have purchased? I prefer to leave it up to you to make the final decision.

Once you have selected the type of item that you wish to sell, you must then find a shop that sells the items, for instance if you would like to sell Battle Dome items, you might go to the magic shop in Neopets Central, which happens to be my personal preference; Or, perhaps you would like to start with something a little easier such as books? Explore the world of Neopia, until you find a shop that is right for you!

Now that you have selected a shop, it’s time to make the buys! A few things you should keep in mind when buying are; A. Items priced considerable higher tend to be worth more NP’s, but this is not always the case; B. Items that there are a much fewer quantity of in comparison to other items in the shop, tend to be worth more. C. Items that seem to be sold faster than others, are more than likely being bought by an experienced re-stocker, and are probably a good prospect the next time it comes around!. To start buying, simply open the main shop; Center the screen on the shops inventory, and then start refreshing the stock; You will know the shop has restocked as soon as there are more items than there were previously.

Be ready, reflexes are a good asset in this situation; Find an item fast, as soon as you have selected an item, click to buy it; Now there will be a haggling screen; I do not suggest actually taking the time to haggle down on an item, this will result in a failed buy.

Instead you want to try and type in a number, as fast as possible; and as close in comparison to the shops set price, even if slightly higher! For instance if the item is priced at 3,300 NPs, you might button mash 3234, or even 3313, or whatever you can as fast as you can, being careful not to type in to many or to few digits.

Now while you are typing this price in there will also be a small picture underneath the pricing bar, while you are typing in the price you want to try and find the Neopet in the screen, in order to buy an item you have to click this Neopet!

Got it? Find an item fast, Click an item fast, Offer a price fast, and find the Neopet to click at the same time.

At first you might fail a few buys, or even buy a few items that were not worth the NPs you invested, but eventually you will get the feel for it; Hone your reflexes, as well as improve your knowledge of the items that re-stock in your shop!

Your speed will improve, your personal shop will grow, and you will be raking in NPs in no time!

Some people might want to even consider, after getting some experience; as they feel more confident, re-stocking two shops simultaneously! As some Neopet shops do not refresh as often as others, I myself use this method, and have had good experience with such said tactics. But, it takes experience, dedication of time, as well as a constant awareness of the shops stock prior to it restocking; If you accidentally hit the refresh button just one more time than you need to, that could result in a failed buy!


Anyway, this is my guide to making it big on NPs it’s not perfect, but it should get you started, and a head start in the right direction.
