this logic makes no sense lol, any game played on the prior systems can be played on ps3 unless you're talking purely about the shock affect that happened when the games were launched (which i will also disagree with because a good game is a good game regardless of what generation it applies to). |

PS1 games are much better than most PS2.
Any PS2 game is much better than anything on the 360, other than Gears Of War.
Every game on ps3 is terrible and holds no interest to me.
I'm an RPGer. The newer systems are FPS oriented.

PSX > PS2 > NDS > SNES > NES > GB Advance/GB Color > N64> PSP > PS3
Just about all of the games on Xbox were dumb as shit and after looking at the line up of games on the 360 I just didn't bother. I bought the ps3 at release for mgs 4 and still haven't opened it though I did play Star Ocean 4, Resident evil (I really need to get around to finishing that) and FF13.

Star Ocean 4 was terrible.
I was soooo disappointed in that game.
It was beautiful, and the battles were awesome... But the voice acting/characters were just super shitty.

well from what ive heard mgs4 was epic and re5 was great too. i love car games more than anything and am itching to get my hands on gt5. ever since ff6, 7, and 8 ive liked those and wouldn't mind getting my hands on 13 either. idc if a system has only a few good games, as long as they have some longevity. what does 360 have other than halo//gears of war that ps3 doesnt. |

I haven't played any game without mute in the last 10 or so years. I don't play to hear people talk or what sounds the programmers include to make it seem like I've just shot/slashed/anal raped some creature with three heads or 6 legs. If it's important it will have sub titles. But SO4 was a real let down in all aspects. SO2 > SO1 > the rest of the crap.

I also loved three. But four made me super happy when I first started playing, then I got past the graphics and I was like, omg, shut up. Stop.
I got to the third disc, and I didn't put it in.
It said Please insert disc 3. And I was like, nope. And turned it off. Lool.

I thought Snake Eater was crap so I don't exactly have high hopes for a game that basically takes it one step farther. I'd rather go back and play MGS on psx then anything else. Although I did enjoy the remake on gamecube.
