So just as always i believe to much in people. Got in contact with a guy, on another forum, who wanted to buy fg. I talked to him over msn, he was swedish just like me.

I dont know shit about paypal and all that, but he guided me threw the making of a new account. He sent the money first. He sent 80dollars and for that i sent him 5k fg. Next round he sent 160 dollar, and i sent him 10k fg. All the sudden the 160$ payment was "reserved". I was told it wasnt possible to chargeback $$ if it was sent like a gift. Although i didnt even know how to check if it was sent as a gift or not, but he seemd very convincing^^.

Anyhow, the 80$ payment is not "reserved" and still on my account. Why hasnt he chargedbacked it aswell? And i guess there isnt a shit i can do to get the 160$$ back? Paypal doesnt give a shit if i contact them?

Is there any way to make sure the money cant be chargedbacked after beeing sent on paypal? So i wont fall for this next time i trade!

i'm sorry mate. there isn't a 100% sure way. if you make the other person send it as a gift though it is more of a hassle for them to chargeback.

Nothing you can do once its reversed
Most likely the $80 wont be reversed if he only reversed the second one

No clue. Maybe because if a dispute or something opens he can say he accidently sent the payment twice and that's why he cancelled one of them?

Yeah atleast getting 80$ wasnt to bad.

Indeed paypal seems very sketchy, i thought sending as a "gift" was the solution, but been told now not even that works.

I have heard that the only thing legit is opening a dispute on how much worth of $$ you are trading, and then let the other party accept the dispute, then close it. I do not think that a chargeback would be possible when using that method happy
