You may have to wait for the deposit to clear the bank, but you can generally transfer money instantly.

Sometimes you can run into problems, for example pokerstars will not let me add any cash through my debit card, they want a credit card or e check.

When u make a new account ,your first money transfer will be declined.
U need to play some poker hands , to earn some raked hands.
Ill made the same and fulltilt poker locked my account for security reasons,and i have email from them when declined the transfer. Needing some games before u go for transfer funds. gl
