i happen to find myself using comp for web surfing and playing 3d online games alot

internet speed is fine ( road runner - _-;; )

kk heres the question

what should i get to improve my performance?

MAXIMUM USAGE IS $ 50 DOLLAR! ( yar i'm poor atm )

1. get one more 512 MB DDR RAM and make it 1GB

2. just stay at 768 MB ( 512 MB + 256 MB ) but get a new gfx card ( Radeon or GeForce )

alright remember this is for my performace upgrade only!

MAXIMUM USAGE IS $ 50 DOLLAR! ( yar i'm poor atm )

Best bet my friend is that you go head over to newegg. Get some more monies and get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135082.
This board and its ati counter-part work very well though the ati version is faster. It has a limited time offer with a 512MB DDR400 ram which is not bad for 80 bucks. Mind you this has an onboard Geforce 6100 includes an AMD Athlon 754 processor thats probably the very overclockable venice version. Best bang for your buck here since your on a budget. Also comes with a 20 bucks mail in rebate. On top of that AMD 754 processors are faster then its intel 478 socket counterpart believe me from experience. Both discontinued sockets go for it!
