I don't see any reason for wii section and ps3 section. They don't seem to be very popular on this site.
Most of the threads in the console gaming sections are about halo, cod or which gaming system that's the best and xbox wins big in all of them.

but no i think for the FPS games, the major ones atleast there should be something. That way tournaments and games and such can be setup easier. I am not a FPS player so i cannot decide on this but, wouldnt it be better to have a central place to organize matches, and games, etc?
i vote yes for genre forums with specific game subgenres. such as for say halo, for computer.

FPS
strategy can kind of fit into the rpg part and all footballs, soccers, basketball, baseball, etc would go under sports. where as games like (dont know fps games so bear with me here)

I mean its a few more forums and it would create a SUB- Subforum but the organization and fun will work out

Those subgenres are too specific imo and their forums would be barren for the most part.
