so, can anyone explain to me exactly what importing is?
also, how can it possibly be done? im not asking for an exact method, just a general description |

do you mean importing like on d3jsp? If so, it's something that the servers privately do. As for importing items on bnet's servers, good luck with that one. I only know of it happening twice in person when a friend of mine did it. Anything previous was imported with mass hacking in the old patches.

I tried doing it for private WoW servers and it was difficult
Closed D2 realm is going to be hard

so wut exactly is it? im under the assumption that some people just import any item they want onto bnet?

It's importing the hex code of the item you want into your character's save file, have you ever used Hero Editor? It would be kind of like that

This is a friend of mine who has a mod so he uses the beach ball sprite and an ancient's sword. Is it the same as importing?

ofc you do
only people who know how to impoort on d2jsp are:
killersdream, bestmfacc, and Hot|shit_84
and they payed huge amount of money for injector
basic idea on importing:
you make a character on battle.net with hero editor (just like on d2-pk)
and import using injector , there is probably more to it though
but thats just a description

killersdream is a faker he cant import, he know the priv dupe bug nothing more
the most stuff he posted was fake and does not exist, only his friends say "its real gear". but trusted ppl in my eyes never get the chance to see any of this stuff, he always had exuses
and hero editor wont help u to import any item, d2-pk is a other sever and has nothing to do with bnet
hack de blizzard server (witch is nearly impossible and very risky) or u send packets to the mobs

You've never seen the axe that sold for 50k fg on d2jsp?
*Imports on D2....All of the FG on jsp wouldn't be enough to buy his items.
He's the one and only importer.
