So i noticed that when there are the same number of each stones left in the bag (say 4 and 4) they always end up drawing one of each. Has anyone else noticed that sometimes it's kinda rediculous? is the probability supposed to be skewed towards the old man?

It's meant to be, so to speak.

Consider it as playing in a casino.

well at a casino the games are inherently skewed towards the house, but there's no actual cheating so to speak (e.g. in blackjack the dealer has an inherent advantage by always winning even when both you and he bust, but he doesnt actively stack the deck or anything). whereas here, the old man cheats and always gets the stones that are good for him to win (like he wins more no matter if you pick "like" or "unlike", which would be akin to you losing at blackjack whether you are being the player or the house, which is just plain rediculous).

There are ways to win against the Old Man, it's not all rigged, there is strategy so to speak. Complaining doesn't always solve everything cool

i think she's talking about incremental bidding strategy, which is really too slow to be useful considering the overwhelming chance to tie.
