I have a question about PokerStars, am I able to use it in the US? As far as being able to cash back out into FG or w/e? I'm about to put my buddy to work playin poker if so

Nope, not for now until the Feds strike a deal with PS on proper taxation / legalization.
I think you can use cake poker and betonline, both suck tho
