Following is an outline that a friend and I have come up with for an idea to help ease the hunt for gear which should, ultimately, help normalize/equalize the economy through availability.

Okay, to the meat.

Gear refinement, what is it? Well, you know that piece of gear you have that has six stats, one of which you don't use for whatever reason? What if you could remove it to up one of the other stats there?

Here's the thought. Give us a UI that you can get when talking to Haedrig that's either different from the crafting UI or rather, just another tab in the blacksmithing UI!

The account have unlocked full stash and upgraded blacksmith & jewelcrafter at max lvl. The account has also purchased and learned some really expensive recipes for blacksmith and jevelcrafter. The stash is full of gems and it has a lot of crafting materials for infernal stuff to make. At the moment it has complited all boses included the first one in act 4 inferno. It has great magic find / damage items on. The bow is rare 940 dmg with 10% attack speed and empty socked. Character has 130k damage and great magic find. The class is Demon Hunter.
