It was a good concept in its original design, but I think it confuses a lot of people, making them think users are trusted when they aren't..
It would make it so people actually need to distinguish themselves and establish a name on this forum, rather than just asking for rep.
Just a thought, I think it does more harm than it does good, unfortunately.

He is claiming to have trusted reps. But he is prolly a scammer.
Yesterday he asked me to trade 2 k fgs ...
He wanted it upfront. He refused to use a med.
Also, I proposed to send him 500 fgs first, and make increment, and he refused.
He is probably here to scam, and claiming he is trusted xD
rep is shit. His IRL friend (maybe multi?) made him a rep, but they did not even make a trade.

that guy youre referring to has 2 reps, lol are you srs?
almost all of my reps are from successful trades buying fg, quite a few of those reps being from know fg sellers.
this would indicate that i do in fact have money and would be less likely to scam you for buying fg.
but if you wanna go trade some brand new 2012 unknown with 0 reps go for it lol

all it takes is research, the guy youre referring to has two reps and is obv not trusted.
i dont see any justification in removing the rep system because of ppl like that.

thats my most recent rep from buying fg. if you were to go to his profile you would see most of his reps are from selling fg. if you went even further you would see ppl leaving him reps are mostly legit users, not obv multis with 3 posts and 5 reps.
its pretty simple, dont be stupid and you wont get scammed. removing the rep system would accomplish nothing.
