Post#1 Posted: 12 Jun 2012 05:23 am    Post subject: Few questions about paypal Reply with quote

I'm cosidering to start using paypal as a payment method for my sells . I have few questions about it . A year ago or so i made an account and i got it verified . Some months ago my card expired and i took new one from my bank . Currently i dont have any money so i cannot add it to my account , but my account is still verified. Is it possible to download the funds from my balance to my card without getting the card added to the paypal account . The other thing i want to ask is if it's possible for the buyers to chargeback their money and is there a way to prevent so . Some people are pming me this :

Quote:
I know it says moneybrooker only but I was wondering if you would consider paypal?
We can use med and teamview so it can be guaranteed that i can not chargeback. (I.e I say that I have received the item + open/close dispute)

Is this working and is there still a possibility to get scammed ? Thank you in advice for your help and i am sorry if this is not the right section to post such kind of a topic .

close and dispute method is legit

also you can only transfer your money to your bank not your card

when i used to use paypal if you sent it as a gift it couldn't be charged back..
if that is still the case i have no idea how people are getting scammed.

Is it a problem if i am not from USA ? Since only USA bank accounts can be added to paypal.

I also heard that as "gift" is the worst way for selling , because its the most easy way to get charged back .

a gift would mean $0.00 fes then yes you can't chargeback
but ppl nowadays say o yea i sent it as a gift and has like $.60 fees or some shit and they can chargeback because it wasnt a gift

also close dispute is the best safe method so far

also you can add your banks to your paypal even thought it is not US
fill in the information from your bank

I am sure the call would cost more than 10euro.

As far as I know there is no way to be 100% safe when it comes to paypal. Open/close dispute...gift etc have always worked for me.
So far I haven't been chargebacked.

-the owner of the paypal account calls paypal and claims he/she got hacked they might reopen a dispute.
-If someone does a chargeback through his bank there is nothing paypal can do. Paypal should cover it in that case though.

Saying they got. The item will not prevent a charge back.

Did you make your account where you were in USA? because seem like you have an US Account thats why it does not tell u add a bank which is not form USA
Call or email paypal to get a bank account added to your paypal account. or close your old paypal & make a new one in your country.

Best way to send is gift, some countries do not support paypal as gift so they have to send normally,
if both parties are form different county there are fees for sending as gift as well.
yes open/close dispute helps, but a dispute can be reopened when u call paypal tell them your account was hacked

there is no safe way to trade n be sure 100% you will not be charge backed, watch who you trade with.
Good luck

The open / close dispute do not work unless you are using business account on paypal.

Sending as gift does not avoid scam in any ways.

To make a paypal paiement that can't be chargebacked , the buyer will have to pay you with his current paypal balance, not using his credit / debit card.
