though really... the idea that some applications work better on a mac then a pc is a complete myth...
i run all those exact application you mentioned... plus if you noticed... all those applications were developed on the pc and released for the pc first, then the mac...
oh... and pc is more of a do it your self thing where you dont have to waste money to get someone else to upgrade it...
i have 6 pcs and 2 macs... (one pc is running Linux for fun )
but ya... macs are a pain to upgrade or even change parts!
example: you have to open the case, remove the monitor, remove the power supply behind that, then the cd drive, the speakers... blah blah blah... just to get to the friken memories!
(well... maybe not that complicated... but you gt the point...)

btw.. windows 7 is not a mac os copy... its got like at least 50 features the mac os doesn't... can your mac os link to your tv? xbox? ps3? cell phone?
oh... and window snapping, blah blah blah.. the list goes on and on... (i know because i have a mac too just for fun and been a comp geek, i know everything about them both! )

school paid for a 3 year service plan so for the next 3 years all upgrades, repairs, fixes, anything are on apple lmao..
i dig the pc, mines a dell xps lmao, its like 7 years old now and as long as i keep it maintained it works just fine still. theres a couple different laptops running around here running windows 7 and vista.. all couple years old... i mean they arent bad, i dont like vista... and windows 7 has some wierd restrictions i am not fond of.... but i still dig my old school windows xp laptop, has terrible hardware and cant run anything really but its died 7 times in its lifetime and the last one was over 100 viruses when it came to me... i fixed it... runs great lol
and my mac can link to my tv and all that fun stuff... as long as i buy the little box thingy lmao _____________________

ya its this wierd little white box that you plug into your tv and mac and whatever else and it does stuff... idk its like 500$ and since i am not a big "ooo i need all the new toys like ipods and iphones and such" i didnt bother looking at it lol... seen it when i was getting my RAM cards fixed lol ( i spilled bong water on my comp and it screwed up one of my RAM cards) _____________________

vouch for laptop! I love Mac, it is great for web searching and it never fails while working, but software and hardware is too expensive and sometimes they cannot be run on Mac; /

P.S. Factory pc vs factory mac = mac win. I dont care how much computer experience you have, without installing some form of protection or having a detailed knowledge of your own computer. an unprotected pc = a time bomb.
